Billy Watson

billy_watson_bio_pic Billy is from Edinburgh and started writing poetry when he was 23.

He was trying to learn guitar at the time and Bob Dylan was a big influence on his writing style.

He then discovered Bill Hicks and so gave up guitar to take up writing and performing comedy which he did for 5 years on the Scottish circuit before moving to Turkey 4 years ago where he now lives and promotes the area through his own information website www.antalyaliving.com

However , last year he still had a comedy itch to scratch so he went back to Edinburgh to put on a one man show every day for the duration of the arts festival which went reasonably well considering he hadn't been on a stage for 3 years.

On returning to Antalya he took a course on wordpress web design and so upgraded his original Antalya site which in turn led him to using his new skills to put together a site to showcase his writing and of him performing comedy and poetry at www.billyswebsite.co.uk.

He is now working on the Antalya site to earn his living while he uses his personal one to express his creative side and he also wants to pick up
from where he left off with regard to learning the Guitar.

In the future he will release a book of his poetry which will be available through this website.
